The PADI Night Diver Speciality is a must if you want to see what the Scuba diving in Murcia on the Costa Calida is like by night, that reef or drop off that you are so familiar with in the daytime now becomes the scene for a whole host of other creatures that come out from their daytime hide holes.
No matter how often you have dived the same site in the hours of daylight at night its a whole different ball game, you will see life that you wont see in the daylight hours and on top of this even the creatures that you see in the day will be behaving totally different.
During the PADI Night Diver Speciality you will learn how to prepare, plan and execute night dives safely and open up this fascinating side to the undersea world. The primary focus of the course is to dive in safety in the hours of darkness.
This course is primarily practical in content, however students are expected to complete knowledge reviews using the home study method of learning, these knowledge reviews will the be checked by the student and the PADI Night Diver Speciality Instructor, correcting any mistakes that may be made thus reinforcing the learning experience and gaining of knowledge. The course consists of three open water training dives, with a recommended depth of 6 meters for each dive and a maximum depth of 20 meters allowed dependant upon diver certification level and site logistics. The course normally runs over two nights.
Before, during and after each of the Three Open Water Dives students will be required to demonstrate practical application of all aspects of planning and preparation, plus demonstrate correct diving protocols and skills specific to holding the PADI Night diver certification. But its not all study, the diving in mazarron and the surrounding areas is fantastic by night of which we are sure you will agree.
