In Puerto de Mazarron we have 15+ dive sites within a matter of a few minutes from the port. Wreck dives, Cave dives, Wall dives as well as dives that are well suited to teaching providing comfortable conditions that make learning fun. On almost any dive you can meet Octopus, Nudibranchs, Grouper, Barracuda, Moray Eels, Conger Eels, Scorpion Fish, Sunfish (Mola Mola) and there is always the chance of Dolphins that will come alongside the dive boat and put on a quick show before disappearing as suddenly as they arrived.
Anyone can sign up for a PADI diving course with us here in Mazarron, providing they meet the criteria laid down by Spanish law and PADI standards. People must be of reasonable health and provide a signed medical certificate from a doctor stating so.
The minimum age for scuba diving in Murcia is 16 years of age for any entry level PADI scuba diving course. It is illegal under Spanish law to provide any scuba diving courses or scuba diving to juniors below the age of 16 this also applies to junior divers below the age of 16 who were already certified outside of Murcia. Emergency first response (EFR primary care)
We also offer courses in Emergency First Response (EFR) primary care a course as valuable in everyday life as it is for PADI Rescue Divers. Whether at home, work or out at leisure facilities EFR certification will give you the skills to make what could be life saving decisions.The EFR course (or its equivalant) is a necessary pre-requisite for gaining the PADI rescue diver certification. Through-out the summer we will be offering incentives to becoming certified as a PADI rescue diver, the pre-requisites for rescue diver are
- Adventure diver with 3 Adventure dives, 1 of which must be the "Navigation" adventure dive.
- or Advanced Open Water Diver.
- EFR (or an equivalent) certification prior to finishing the Rescue Diver course.
Project A.W.A.R.E.
Project A.W.A.R.E and Project Coral Reef Conservation are courses that are designed both for divers and non divers. Learn how organisms depend on each other for survival in the sea and fresh water. How Corals and other underwater features are each there own tiny ecosystem. As well as learning how to care for our Oceans, lakes and rivers that inturn sustain us.
